Browne to Speak at WateReuse Symposium

We’re excited to share that WestWater Research’s own Oliver Browne will be speaking at the 2026 WateReuse Symposium next month!

Oliver, our California Regional Director, will be presenting on “Creative Strategies for Marketing Recycled Water” — a timely topic as utilities and municipalities across the state navigate the growing importance of water reuse in building long-term supply reliability.

With a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago, a decade of water resource consulting experience, and teaching stints at UC Berkeley and the University of Chicago, Oliver brings a rare blend of academic rigor and real-world expertise to the conversation. He works daily with utilities, municipalities, and government agencies to tackle some of California’s most complex water supply challenges.

Oliver will be joined at the Symposium by WestWater Research COO Chris Smith — so if you’re attending, you’ll have a great opportunity to connect with both of them.

And the week before, Oliver and Chris will be moderating panels at our Sustainable Water Investment Summit — we hope to see you at both events!
