Ben Witeck is an Analyst at WestWater Research, based in San Francisco, California. Ben uses his background in policy research, data analysis/visualization, and stakeholder engagement to support water market research and water rights valuation in California, Oregon, and Washington.

Ben received his B.S. in Conservation & Resource Studies from UC Berkeley. He tailored his studies to center around environmental economics while exploring analytical skillsets such as GIS. Following a summer internship with Hetch Hetchy Water & Power (SFPUC), Ben became fascinated with the world of California water resource management, and has welcomed every opportunity to explore it since. 

In his free time, Ben plays jazz piano and is always looking for the next outdoor adventure, whether it be by foot or by bike.
