Please join us in welcoming Ben Witeck to WestWater Research as our newest Analyst, based in San Francisco!
Ben brings a strong foundation in policy research, data analysis and visualization, and stakeholder engagement to his work supporting water market research and water rights valuation across California, Oregon, and Washington.
His background spans roles at the California State Water Resources Control Board, the California Institute for Water Resources, and the Wheeler Water Institute at Berkeley Law, giving him a well-rounded perspective on water policy and resource management across the state. He holds a B.S. in Conservation & Resource Studies from UC Berkeley, where he focused on environmental economics and GIS, and got his start in the field through an internship with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
Outside of work, Ben is a jazz pianist and an avid outdoorsman. We’re excited to have him on board!
